Delete your account

Do it yourself, in a minute

1. Open Ours on your phone, or go to app.oursbaby.com and sign in.
2. Go to Account, then Settings, then Your data, then Delete my account.
3. Download your family's log first if you'd like a copy, then confirm.

Can't sign in? Email hello@oursbaby.com from the address you use with Ours, and we'll do it for you within 7 days.

What it removes

Your email address, your name, your devices and your settings. Private entries on your phone are removed with the app's data when you're signed out.

What stays with your family

Entries you logged for your family stay in their log, shown as "A former member", because they're part of your baby's record.

If you're the only adult left in the family, the family goes too: every baby, every entry and every photo, from our server as well.

When

Your account is deleted 7 days after you ask. Sign in before then to keep it. After that it can't be undone, and copies in our backups are gone within 7 days.

Only want to remove something smaller?

You don't need to delete your account. Delete an entry from the entry itself (its photo goes with it, from every phone and our server), or a baby from Account.
